**ALL ROUND PICTURES FROM SOLARPIX.COM**.**WORLDWIDE SYNDICATION RIGHTS**.Brits escaping the UK floods to the safety of their Spanish holiday villas had the realities of global warming brought home to them this week, as bush fires raged across the hills close to the holiday resort of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol..Brits, Germans and Spanish residents were evacuated as helicopters battled for more than eight hours to extinguish the fire, taking water from local golf course lakes. The thick black smoke could be seen above beaches up to 20 miles away. Luckily there were no casualties and the destruction was kept to the dry grassy hillside..JOB REF: 4366 LCD DATE: 23.07.07.**MUST CREDIT SOLARPIX.COM OR DOUBLE FEE WILL BE CHARGED* *UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS IMAGE TO BE REPRODUCED FOR ANY ONLINE EDITION WITHOUT PRIOR PERMISSION*
